Professional Air Duct Cleaning

Providing you and your family safe air to breathe

Air duct cleaning is an important part of improving the quality of air in your home or business in Hillsboro, Cornelius, Forest Grove, Aloha, Banks, North Plains, and Gaston, OR. Our vacuuming system gets all the dirt and debris out of your ducts and into our truck.

As you may be aware, there are other companies that offer the same type of service. However, there are plenty of things that set us apart from the competition. They often use portable machines which offer no more suction than your typical shop vacuum. We use a specially designed vacuum truck which is built for the purpose of cleaning air ducts.

Typically, we run an 8" vacuum hose from our truck to your furnace, as well as run air lines with various attachments down each vent. These air lines are much more powerful than a standard air compressor and the combination of vacuuming and the pressured air do a superior job of cleaning duct work from the vents, all the way to the furnace.

Because we have been a heating and cooling contractor for over 40 years, we know what clean air ducts, HVAC and heating systems should look like. We want you to enjoy the benefits of clean air to your health, as well as the increased efficiency of your heating system when it is kept clean and well maintained.

The Steps of Air Duct Cleaning

It all starts with your dirty ducts!

Our vacuum truck comes to your home and we generally connect the 8" in diameter hose to the ductwork at your furnace.

Our technicians protect your home by using drop cloths where necessary.

Then the technicians will cover each of your registers so that our machine can put your duct work under a vacuum. They will then go to each register (supply) one at a time and run specialized cleaning attachments through the ducts all the way to the furnace. The entire length of each duct is thoroughly cleaned and dust free by the time they're done.

The next step is for the technicians to clean the cold air returns. They use the same process with appropriate attachments for larger size ducts.

In the meantime, at the furnace, our trained technician cleans the unit itself.

We also check your air filtration system. Cleaning them when appropriate and recommending styles and sizes to best serve your needs.

When our technicians are finished we wrap up our tools, and cycle your heating and cooling system.

Ozone Deodorization

In addition to air duct cleaning, we also provide ozone deodorization. Ozone deodorization is an extremely effective and permanent way to eliminate odor through oxidation, while also killing bacteria, fungi and viruses.

Our truck mounted vacuum system has three (almost four times) the suction of a small portable vacuum system that some contractors use. Some companies actually use a shop vacuum which is a total joke!
Most truck mounted air compressors have their pressure set at 175 psi (pounds per square inch); small portable vacuum systems are usually set at 100-150 psi; ours is set at 240 psi. The contractors that use a shop vacuum have no compressed air at all! At that rate, you'd be just as well off doing it yourself.

On residential jobs, we usually use an 8" vacuum hose; on commercial jobs we use an 8" or even a 10" vacuum hose if needed. We have the capability of using up to 250′ of suction hose; most cleaning contractors are limited to 100′ or even less. For residential jobs, we use one to three technicians, as appropriate for the job; for commercial jobs, we use up to five technicians.

We schedule a crew for only two jobs per day so that we can be thorough, as opposed to five to six or more jobs per day as some companies do. As long as the info we are given on the phone is accurate, we do add on to the price we give to you on the phone without proving to you that additional services are warranted and you have approve the charges before we perform the work.

We do not use potentially hazardous chemicals to clean and/or sanitize your air duct and furnace system as a sales gimmick. Only after a though diagnosis would we prescribe such measures and then only after all mandatory precautions are met to protect our customers and employees.Prescription without diagnoses is malpracticeWe have been in the heating business for over 36 years.

Unfortunately, a lot of duct cleaners have no formal heating and cooling education or experience and often only a crash course on air systems cleaning, carpet cleaning or drapery cleaning and/or anything else they think they can make a fast buck on.We have a friendly, trained, experienced people to answer your call for service, verses a multi option phone system that never has the right choice for your need(s).

We have a satisfied customer return rate of over 80%. We often service, repair or replace their heating and cooling equipment for many years after we have cleaned their air duct system and furnace. We have a lot of customers that have used our services exclusively for 20 to 30 years!

We prioritize repeat customers, often providing same day service when problems arise. We are your neighbors and we treat you in a manner that we would want to be treated! If you want to be one of our repeat customers, get in touch with us today!
